We all have a vantage point. When we fail to name it, we silently collude with the oppressive status quo
My divinity breathes through my creativity and my fluidity
Fluidity runs through my veins, and presents within my queer sexuality, gender, relationship structures, and the overall way in which I make sense of the world. Binaries of most kinds don’t work well for me – I love messiness, nuance, and shades of grey. I believe this is where authenticity and liberation live. There is no simple or singular way to live a life.
The therapeutic process is an artistic one. I am here to support you in alchemizing pain into wisdom, shame into liberation, and stuckness into authentic flow. While the magic of therapy is typically accessed through spoken word, you will find embodiment practices amply offered throughout our sessions. Deep healing happens viscerally, on a full body level, as we learn to attune to and feel big concepts like safety, trust, acceptance, and love.
I believe in the powers of compassion and loving connection – there are no ‘bad parts’ within us, only those that would benefit from some extra care, guidance, skill, and attention. This world sure doesn’t model loving kindness and acceptance – growing this within our own selves is a radical and beautiful reclamation of courage and love. As we heal ourselves, we also heal our lineage and our communities.

What is my Background?
In 2009, I graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Family Studies and Psychology. I focused on parent-child relationships, transitions within families, and interpersonal communication. I dabbled in work within Child and Family Service Agencies - primarily offering parenting support programs - alongside work as a flight attendant, allowing me to spread my wings and personally grow. I went on to become a Registered Midwife, catching babies and holistically supporting pregnant people and their families through one of life’s intensely powerful transitions. I worked within a busy urban practice, offering an autonomy-reclaiming pushback within the patriarchal healthcare system. Being a midwife was profoundly hard, and full of beauty. In this time, I also had my own baby (now a full-fledged kid), lived within (and ultimately left) an emotionally abusive relationship, became a single parent, and came into alignment with my queerness. I went to A LOT of therapy, and learned firsthand how painful, and simultaneously delicious, transformation can be. The paradox of personal transformation and growth is that it is the ultimate homecoming. I sit here today with a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology, and a whole array of personal and professional experience that I bring to the table. I am not just a “nod and listen” kind of therapist. I will get in the thick of it and grapple alongside you, offering you warmth, wisdom, exploration and skills, as you bravely and softly find your own way home.
