The paradox of personal transformation is that it is the ultimate homecoming
If you listen carefully, your soul is already whispering your own way home
Therapy is a process that helps you cut through the chatter
The people we grew up with imparted all kinds of messages upon us (subtle and not so subtle). The world is constantly proclaiming its values on ‘how to live a life’. We internalize all kinds of ideas that didn’t start as our own, and are often our own loudest critic.
It can be really hard to get to the heart of your authentic voice, you know? The kind and caring one — the one that is wise, creative, and helps us to grow. Growth thrives amongst compassion and care; not shame and punishment.
Therapy offers space to be seen, heard, and lovingly held within
I will gently help you notice your patterns, beliefs, and experiences, as we move into deeper understanding, awareness, and possibility. Therapy offers an opportunity to notice and feel your feelings, process some hard sh*t (aka trauma), and come to more nuanced thoughts and perspectives on yourself and your world.
As you explore your inner landscape into greater consciousness, you open up possibilities to engage in life with more intentionality, freedom, and joy.
Therapy is a Relationship
It isn’t about someone (me) analyzing you, and telling you what to do. Sure, I’ll have perspectives and ideas and will share those with you, but I’m not the expert on your life; you are.
I will hold an unwavering space of compassionate loving care, and the idea is that within this relational space, you will begin to feel safer and more at home within your own self. In the right conditions, we all inherently know how to thrive.
